Karmic Cycle is a pop-punk/post-hardcore band based in Macomb County, MI. Known for their powerful vocals and engaging melodies, Karmic Cycle commands the attention of their audience. Each member of Karmic Cycle holds an extensive and diverse background in music, contributing to their unique sound. Formed in mid 2025 as a project of pure passion, the group is currently playing live shows to gain traction and plans to release a debut single in 2026.
Stephanie Hunter has had music woven into her life from the start, beginning with piano and later picking up guitar, quickly stepping into the spotlight as a lead guitarist. Over time, her passion evolved into singing and acoustic performance, where her haunting tone and expressive voice took center stage.
She now fronts Karmic Cycle as lead vocalist, delivering raw, cathartic performances. A key personal accomplishment includes her solo release, “Lost With You,” a jazzy, calming project featuring guitar and vocals entirely written and performed by Stephanie.
Johnny is a rhythm guitarist, songwriter, and registered nurse who founded Karmic Cycle in the spring of 2025. Picking up guitar at 21, he quickly developed a passion for writing and performing, drawing inspiration from progressive and post-hardcore bands like Dance Gavin Dance and A Day to Remember.
A self proclaimed prog nerd, Michael is the lead guitarist and a songwriter of Karmic Cycle. Between solo writing projects and his leading role in Breakfast at 2pm, he has spent years refining his craft as a songwriter and guitarist. A standout accomplishment is the release of “Blinded By Noise” by Breakfast at 2pm, in which he served as the primary songwriter, writing 22 of the album’s 23 tracks.
Joseph is a guitarist and bassist whose aspiration for music ignited unexpectedly in a high school guitar class, turning random chance into passion. Inspired by diverse and uncompromising bands such as Pixies, Queens of the Stone Age, PJ Harvey, Nine Inch Nails, and Mannequin Pussy, Joseph is drawn to music that is experimental and unpredictable. From releasing his own horror inspired tracks to now playing bass in Karmic Cycle, he is continuously fulfilling his ambition of collaborating to create meaningful art.
With music being passed onto him from his father, Tyler fell in love with the drums, getting his first electric set at 15. Growing up listening to mainly country and Bon Jovi, his taste in music evolved over time as he discovered his love for the groove. Listening to drummers such as Chris Adler and Danny Carey, Tyler has been able to create a unique style that allows him to incorporate the rhythms of every member of Karmic Cycle.
